The band's first American LP, issued more than two years after they had put out their first British recordings, consisted of a dozen tracks selected from various U.K. mid-'60s sessions. It was a reasonable enough introduction to the band for those who hadn't heard most of those, an audience, which, at the time, included virtually all Americans. Along with their first U.S. smash, "Gimme Some Lovin'," it had several British hit singles: "Somebody Help Me," "Keep on Running," and "When I Come Home." The remainder was comprised of fair, though not great, covers and derivative group originals. ---Richie Unterberger, AllMusic Review

Comprised of rare archive footage of the original lineup as seen in the recording studio, concerts, and public relations activities, the documentary was shot in 1967, as the band underwent crucial changes and toured Europe. An exclusive interview sheds further light on the individual band members, featuring Steve Winwood, who went on to gain even greater acclaim as a member of Traffic, as well as in his solo career, and Steve's brother Muff.
