Mouskouri's voice is folk music type, clear and pure. I prefer her singing with very little instrumental accompaniment, just an acoustic guitar is ideal. Please be advised that the lyrics are all in French with no English translation. The CD booklet does not even list the songs in order or provide any information on the musicians or other talent responsible for the music. All of this gets in the way of my appreciation of this CD, Nana's voice is splendid and you can pick up on the emotion and sheer beauty of the singing even if the lyrics are largely opaque as they are for me! ---Michael Berry, amazon.com
