Hammer's second offering was better produced than the debut, but otherwise there's little actual difference in the music. The band's delivery still sounds a bit strained (which is to a large extent due to the vocals) and not too appealing, although based on technical merits only it should meet any usual requirements. Again, the songs are fairly energetic but not really memorable in any way. Actually the most distinctive piece must be the Animals cover Inside Looking Out which is quite a slacker and fortunately just a single experiment here. Hammer were already starting to show hints of more ambitious directions, but the lack of character on this album can still be quite frustrating, to say the least. With less competition around, Terror might have turned out a bit more interesting, now it's just not quite there. --- classicthrash.com

Hammer – polski zespół thrashmetalowy. Powstał w 1985r. w Karpaczu, zakończył działalność osiem lat później w 1993r. W latach 1988 – 93 managerem grupy z ramienia Metal Mind Production był Tomasz Dziubiński. Na wszystkich zagranicznych wydawnictwach muzycy występowali pod pseudonimami ( Maciej Sawicz – Mick Savage, Piotr Kryński – Peter Poland, Robert Kuryś – Robert Joy etc). Oprócz płyt długogrających, nagrania zespołu Hammer pojawiły się na wielu składankach i kompilacjach w kraju i za granicą. Projektantem okładek do płyt "Sherman" i "Terror" jest Jerzy Kurczak. Autorem okładki i również logo na płycie "Terror II" wydanej przez Shark Records jest Piotr Kryński.
