First of all let me say this much; I, for one, am more than thrilled that Natalia didn't follow the recent trend of leaving everything you are behind and selling out to the English-speaking market. She is and always will be a "Latina", which is why she should never have to try to pass herself off as anything else. And as for all you non-spanish speakers... LEARN THE LANGUAGE! It's a very beautiful and easy to learn one, so... go ahead!

As for the album... being an Oreiro-fan for quite a while and having followed her singing career quite well, I can easily say this is by far the best album she has ever made (from the vocal point of view). Her vocal abilities seem to have grown inmensely, while her music style has also changed completely. Going from the typical latin sound presented on her debut album, she has now switched to a more powerful type of music, leaning more towards rock, althout still mixed with many latin elements, beats, sounds, etc. This is a very enjoyable product for anyone and a definite must have for all the Oreiro-fans. --- Alejandra Montero, amazon.com

Natalia Oreiro zaczynała od ról w mydlanych operach. Na swojej trzeciej płycie udowadnia jednak, ze piosenkarką została nie przez przypadek. Wraca z pełnym energii albumem "Turmalina", który, według niej, jest najważniejszym krokiem w jej dotychczasowej muzycznej karierze.
