PRYAPISME is a French instrumental Avant-Metal band and since 2006 they found a stable line-up consisting of Benjamin BARDIAUX (Keys, synth), Nicolas SÉNAC (Guitars) and Aymeric THOMAS (Drums, electronics, bass-clarinet). The music is best described as 'eclectic', in a sense that anything can happen, black metalled strings, Satie-influenced piano parts, electronic fiddling, jazzy moods, ELP-like Prog and 8-bit core, often in a matter of a few bars of music. As such the band embodies the original spirit of Progressive Rock, incorporating jazz with rock and in case of PRYAPISME multiple other styles to form a new and exciting whole.

In 2005, the band released the EP 'Pump Up The Pectine'. It took 4 more years to complete the full-length debut 'Rococo Holocaust'. Recommended for fans of MR BUNGLE and Avant-Metal such as POLKADOT CADAVER and SHAOLIN DEATH SQUAD. ---Bonnek, progarchives.com
