The 10 tracks that make up my latest album, Horns & Harps feature 2 covers and 8 originals that were written starting in the summer of 2017. I spent several months writing and demoing the songs after moving from Toronto to Woodstock, Ontario. I connected with guitarist Iain McNally there and he worked closely with me on the project, demoing, co-producing/arranging and playing on the session. We laid down the album in 2 days in the spring of 2018 and featured Turner King on sax on day 1 and Roly Platt on harp on day 2. We came back another day to add background vocals. There were only minor edits and what you hear is what happened off the floor at Jukasa Studios in Caledonia. I had a great time making the album and hope you enjoy it. ---Lee Palmer, leepalmer.ca
