Arkady Shilkloper - french horn

I was in Obninsk, Russia in the House of Culture of the Obninsk Physical Energy Research Institute more than ten years ago, fall of 1997 I believe. It was a Jazz Club performance. There was Arkadiy Shilkloper performing live. It was amazing. Then there was a group of American Jazz muscians playing and then Russians and Americans played together teasing and kidding each other. It was a real competition. This was the best Jazz performance I ever had in my life. At the end I managed to talked to him and I bought his little cassette album "Hornology". I used to listen to it but now tape is dead and there's no tape recorder to play it on. I was looking for that album on the CD but probably will buy MP3 now. This music was recorded in the real Russian Church and it's an amazing God's music... ---Scratch Monkey, amazon.com
