Ira Tenax are a death metal band from Hanau/Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany. They formed in 1999, and released their debut, Days of Wrath, the following year. The trade press agrees that the debut-album is a little master-piece. Within shortest time the album was totally sold out and reached Cult-Status. Countless live gigs confirmed the stage qualities of the musicians. Ira Tenax creates a unique live atmosphere and excites the audience with their charismatic stage-presence. With their 2006 release “Trapped” the band caused a little furore all over again.
