Formed in 1995 and hailing from the concrete jungle of Sao Paulo, Brazil, PAURA started as a side project of members from well known bands from that time: No Violence, Garage Fuzz and Kangoroos in Tilt. As it naturally became a full-time band, some of the original members departed and formation changes happened.

Since the beginning, the idea was to mix the old school American hardcore rawness and DIY ethics, with the obnoxiousness and groove of Brazilian Thrash Metal. With some changes in the sound from the first era of the band, but never losing focus on the initial spirit, PAURA has mastered a very peculiar personality that sets it apart from every band from those genres.

With 5 full-length albums, 2 EPs, and 2 split CDs released, 4 European and 6 South American tours, PAURA has a strong commitment with producing new, original music and touring hard, having shared the stages with the likes of SICK OF IT ALL, AGNOSTIC FRONT, MADBALL, H20, FIRST BLOOD, THROWDOWN, TERROR, WALLS OF JERICHO, and many others. --- mad-tourbooking.de
