The Tremeloes is a British rock and roll band formed in 1958 in Dagenham, Essex Brian Poole (vocals), Ricky West (guitar), Alan Blakely (keyboards), Alan Howard (bass) and Dave Munden (drums). In 1962, they did a test on Decca, competing with another group to obtain a recording contract. They were approved, while the other band, The Beatles , was dismissed.

They achieved some success in the UK charts during the 60’s, although they never achieved again overcome their “rivals” studio. Despite going through several changes in its formation, the band continues to record and perform occasionally.

In 1968, was released another LP similar to that presented here under the name The Tremeloes – World Explosion !, with the same songs except the theme “My Little Lady” which was not inserted.

In this LP, we highlight the track “My Little Lady” (Alan Blakley / Len Hawkes) who arrived in paragraph 6 of the top UK and # 51 in Australia and the song “Helule Helule” (Daudi Kabaka) , which reached the # 14 position in the UK and # 29 in Australia. vocalist Brian Poole was part of the 1958-1968 group. ---bryz, yesterdaysoundstoday.wordpress.com
