Vera (Borisovna) Bryner was the sister of Yul Brynner (who added a 2nd 'n' to the last name).

When she settled down in New York City, she tried to start a singing career. Appeared in several movies, singing Russia folk songs. She was well known for her high pitched soprano voice.

She openned up a Voice Studio, to help Broadway actors improve their singing capabilities.

She recorded one record album, singing Russian Romances, gypsy and folk songs in Russian. ---findagrave.com
