Maciej Kossowski - a legendary singer, musician and songwriter became famous after becoming a lead singer of the most popular big-beat group in Poland: Czerwono - Czarni, ( The Red Blacks)

Working with the group from 1963 to 1967 Maciej gave approximately three thousand concerts in Poland, Greece, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Canada and USA to the massive audience of approximately 5.000.000 people. On more then ten occasions Maciej sang to as many as a 100.000 (hundred thousand people) in outdoor performances.

Since 1967 he continued to perform with group Tajfuny on the three months tour of USSR playing his trumpet and singing in Polish, Russian and English for the numerous Soviet audiences in a biggest concert halls of that country. Since 1968 Maciej continued as a solo recording artist, producer, composer, arranger and musician working for the Polish Radio in Warsaw for the program of Studio Rytm. Between 1968 and 1969 he limited his live performances to only few and instead participated in many TV appearances singing his newly written songs.

In the span of two years Maciej has produced, co-written and wrote orchestral arrangements to many hit songs which either he or other artists recorded. --- maciejkossowski.com
