Venezuelan singer/songwriter, actor, and dancer Carlos Baute started getting involved in popular music after joining a local band called los Chamos. In the acting field, his debut came while playing a role in the Latin soap opera Destino de Mujer. In 1994, Carlos Roberto Baute Jiménez signed up to a major label and made an Afro-Caribbean record titled Orígenes I. A second album, called Orígenes II, followed in 1997, featuring the hit single "Te Quise Olvidar." After releasing the successful Yo Nací Para Quererte and 2001's Dame de Eso, which included the Latin pop hit "El Angelito," Carlos Baute became a top-selling artist in Venezuela and Spain. In 2004, Baute released Peligroso, primarily as a digital download but eventually on CD in North America in 2007. This followed 2005's Baute and was followed-up by De Mi Puño y Letra (2008), which was released by Warner Music and reached number two in the Spanish charts. 2009 saw Baute release his first live album in the shape of Directo En Tus Manos, while 2010's Amarte Bien was a studio hit containing some of the best examples of the positive, uplifting music that the singer was renowned for. ---Drago Bonacich, Rovi

Amarte bien es el álbum de Carlos Baute de 2010. Nacido durante su exhaustiva gira promocional por latinomérica. Baute, sin perder un minuto de su tiempo, se dedicó a escribir temas entre sus actuaciones, viajes, entrevistas y conciertos. Camerinos, hoteles, aviones y salas de espera sirvieron como base para componer.

Muestra a un cantautor completamente conectado a sus sentimientos y a su filosofía basada en la creencia de vivir el presente, sobresaltar lo positivo ante cualquier situación negativa y sobretodo ser feliz: "Quiero que cuando la gente escuche mi disco se sienta feliz. Son canciones muy frescas, pero que van directo al corazón". Sin perder su esencia y marcando claramente su estilo de música, Baute derrocha romanticismo, sensualidad, pasión, positivismo y picardía en cada una de sus composiciones, que en definitiva, pone en alto al amor, no importa si estás enamorado, si esperas encontrar tu gran amor o si acabas de terminar una relación.
