Bert Kaempfert was born on October 16, 1923 in Hamburg, Germany. He composed “Stranger In The Night” and “Spanish Eyes”. He also produced first Beatles recording session in Hamburg. He unfortunately died suddenly on a stroke on June 21, 1980 (age 56).

Bert Kaempfert has a total of 53 domestic album releases. Fortunately almost all his albums are now available on CDs.

“The Most Beautiful Girl” was Bert’s 42nd domestic album release. The entire set was totally enjoyable with great sound, and is a welcome addition to complete my Bert Kaempfert library. --- Dr. Joseph Lee, amazon.com
