Pianist Hernán Jacinto was born in Buenos Aires in 1981.

He studied piano with Diego Schissi, Guillermo Romero and Ernesto Jodos, and got a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Hernán collaborated with many renowned artists, including Rubén Rada, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Javier Malosetti, Paul Wertico (Pat Metheny Group), Jean Louis Rassinfosse (Chet Baker), Emmanuel Horvilleur, Érica García, Guillermo Vadalá and Gustavo Bergalli. In 2006 he toured Europe extensively alongside Karlheinz Miklin.

At present, in addition to his work as the front man of his own quartet, Hernán is the regular pianist of Pedro Aznar’s band, Ramiro Flores’s quintet and the Ayelén Zuker-Hernán Jacinto duo. --- buenosairesjazz.gob.ar
