This digital album was recorded in September 2009 by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, with David Parry as the conductor, at three separate locations, namely, the Royal Festival Hall, the Abbey Road Studios, and the Henry Wood Hall in London, England. The Choral music is performed by the London Chorus and the London Philharmonic Choir. This album is produced for the Swedish company, X5 Music Group, solely for digital release at Amazon, iTunes, and other digital music providers. It includes fifty of the best known classical compositions by Bach, Handel, Mozart, and other major composers, about 4 hours worth of music, for a very reasonable price. Lovers of choral music will appreciate Carmina Burana- O Fortuna by Carl Orff, Nabucco-Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves by Verdi, and "Ode to Joy" by Beethoven. Piano music lovers will like the "Moonlight Sonata" and "Fur Elise" by Beethoven, performed by the award winning Irish pianist, Finghin Collins.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra was first established in 1932 by Sir Thomas Beecham. It is one of the major orchestras in the U.K., based in the Royal Festival Hall in London, England. It is also the main resident orchestra of the Glyndebourne Festival Opera at Glyndebourne, East Sussex, England. In addition, it regularly performs concerts at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne and Brighton Dome in Brighton, England, which is most famous for its pipe organ.---Alan Riviere, amazon.com
