Brian Crain - Piano
Kanabi Panoki - Accordion

I hate to be the kind of person who says they love everything an artist does, but in this case, it's true. Nothing Brian Crain has ever done has not gotten into my head and stayed there, begging me to listen, to hear, again and again. Sometimes you want to undo something and experience it as new again because it is that addictive and wonderful. "Let's do that again" your inner child asks. If you are not familiar with this piano player, you have missed out. To reduce his music to 'simple' would be insulting because while the tunes are eminently listenable, it's deceiving, they're NOT simple...they're beautiful and beauty is something so undefinably complex. Time and again, the music is just beautiful. If, as the title suggests, he wrote this music while traveling through Europe, I can certainly picture the moments that inspired him. He took beauty and made it audible. As usual. ---mhouse, amazon.com
