British Blues Award winners Catfish release their much-anticipated second album ‘Broken Man’. The album is blues with a very broad brush - from Matt’s prog anthem ‘Broken Man’ to Paul’s stripped back, soulful ballad ‘Part as Strangers’ featuring a wonderful harmonica solo from special guest Paul Jones.

All tracks are originals bar one – their own epic take on Foy Vance’s ‘Make it Rain’. Since breaking onto the blues scene in January 2015 with their debut album ‘So Many Roads’ going straight to no 1 in the IBBA blues airplay charts, Catfish have carved a reputation for themselves as an excellent live band with a phenomenal front-man in 22 year old guitarist/vocalist Matt Long who plays with a real passion for the blues. The strength of ‘Broken Man’ lies in the song writing; the songs really stay with you, no mean feat for a debut originals album. ‘Broken Man’ confirms the band as a serious contender in the field of original contemporary blues.

'Catfish's new Broken Man album...is a turning point for the band showing that not only is Catfish one of the best live bands on the blues circuit at the moment, but that the calibre of their songwriting matches that.' Blues in Britain, December 2016. ---cdbaby.com
