This is an incredible album full of a solid sound coming out from many music styles. Pure electric blues together with a funky rock feel. Folk acoustic guitars against sweet atmospheric "delay" electric guitars. Soulful blues vocals harmonized together with gospel group vocals. The first time for the Blues Trackers releasing an album consisted only from their own music. After ten years with this line up the band made this album as a turning point to their musical journey. Some of the best tracks of the album is the same titled slow blues "Smells like trouble", and "Mind Starvation" a really hot funky rock tune.
