Lubię muzykę chóralną. Bez towarzyszenie instrumentów. Myślę, że jest to najwznioślejszy rodzaj muzyki.

Muzyka chóralna, chociaż nie jest zbyt popularna ma się dzisiaj całkiem dobrze. I nasi kompozytorzy mają wcale dobre dokonania. Dowodem może być utwór Henryka Góreckiego „Totus Tuus” (Zawsze Twój).

Utwór powstał w 1987 roku z intencją uczczenia trzeciej pielgrzymki Jan Pawła II do Polski.

Został po raz pierwszy wykonany podczas uroczystej mszy na Placu Zwycięstwa w Warszawie.

Libretto jest autorstwa poetki Marii Bogusławskiej.

„Totus Tuus” jest jednym z najbardziej znanych dzieł Góreckiego w świecie. W swoim repertuarze ma go większość najlepszych chórów.

Moje ulubione wykonanie to interpretacja Chóru Katedry Westminsterskiej pod kierunkiem Edwarda Higginbottoma. Oto ono:
