Mira Kubasinska (09/08/1944-10/25/2005) - Polish rock vocalist, best known for her cooperation with prog-rock & blues band Breakout.

She debuted at age of eight, and became famous at age 21 when she joined band Blackout (later on known as Breakout). Mira was one of the most visible and influential personalities of rock scene in Poland in late 1960s and during 1970s. Her most famous songs are included on Breakout's first album "Na drugim brzegu teczy": "Na drugim brzegu teczy", "Poszlabym za toba", and "Gdybys kochal, hej". She also participated in other Breakout's projects, including albums: "70a", "Mira", "Ogien", "NOL", "Zagiel ziemi", and "ZOL".

Mira along with Breakout were often criticized by communist media in Poland for their pro-western philosophy, hippie lifestyle, long hair, and their progressive music.

After breakout of Breakout in 1982, Mira quit singing. During the rest on 1980s she stayed away from rock scene in Poland, only occasionally performing at Old Rock Meeting in Sopot (1986 7 1987). Since 1994 she came back to blues rock arenas in Poland, cooperating with bands After Blues, Kasa Chorych, K.G. Band i Bluesquad.
