The Big Three Trio was Dixon's post-World War II blues vocal trio. His songwriting talent was still developing, and there isn't much relationship between this material and his subsequent work on Chess. The smooth vocals, however, will recall the Ink Spots, among other vocal groups of the era. ---Bruce Eder, Rovi
