Lhasa was the third and unfortunately final record by American-born singer/songwriter Lhasa de Sela, who passed away in January 2010. De Sela crafted delicate, intimate love songs that brought together influences from all over the map, from Gypsy music and flamenco to English and Mexican folk, blues, country, and tango. Lhasa was her first record sung entirely in English.
