The name of this brilliant trumpet soloist, talented arranger, and author of hundreds of transcriptions and compositions for piano, voice, solo instrument and even orchestra, is well known throughout the world. At the age of 80, Timofei Dokshizer has recently finished his latest creative work, recording the Skriabiniana Suite and once more this famous trumpeter has proven his talents. This artist has composed for himself and many other trumpeters, orchestral repertoires of the greatest musicians of all times. In addition, working with many of the world's famous composers, numerous new works for trumpet have been commissioned. This high-level music has replaced the banal, rustic music that was in character for well-known trumpeters of the 19th century. --- abel.hive.no
