Their debut album ¨The Strong Arm Of The Rock¨ (Marion Cobretti Records, 2007) gets positive reviews from the media and the band spends the next two years touring and leaving audiences in awe with their crushing live show. In 2010 the band goes back in the studio to record the follow-up, entitled ¨Thriller¨ (Kaiowas Records), an album to be released in early 2011. Desde España llega un demo a la recepción de Oloraviejo... para cabecear con ganas! COBRA es un proyecto creado en 2006 por David Gonzalez (Bajo - TT L.T.) y Iosu Luengo (Guitarra - Evirus69) con la colaboración de Iñigo Galarregi (batería – Embryo Greed). Con algunos temas compuestos y un estilo musical definido se pone voz a las composiciones con la entrada de Haritz Lete (Kokein). En 2007 Iñigo abandona la formación y el resto de la banda se centra en la grabación de lo que será su presentación al público: 6 temas autoproducidos con un estilo que abarca desde el rock sureño, el rock de los 70 y los inicios del heavy, hasta el rock alternativo de los 90 y leves pinceladas de stoner rock o metal. La formación actual se cierra con la entrada de Ekain Elorza (Sei Urte) a la batería. El grupo se encuentra grabando 4 canciones más para dar forma a lo que será su primer trabajo llamado "The Strong Arm of The Rock".Riffs directos y contundentes, con un sonido actual y poderoso, influenciado por grupos clásicos como Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelín o ZZTop, y grupos mas modernos como Clutch, Soundgarden, Metallica, Corrosion of Conformity, Down, Kyuss o Black Label Society.

Labelled by the critics as ¨Thriller rock¨ due to the influence of action movies and TV series in their lyrics, this rock/metal band from the Basque Country was formed back in 2006 by David González (Bass - Berri Txarrak , TT L.T.) and Josu Luengo (Guitar - Evirus69). Later on Haritz Lete (Vocals- Kokein) and Ekain Elorza (Drums - Dinero) joined them establishing the actual line-up.

This time the band faces a new adventure. Covering classic film´s themes and scores. Cobra´s new work entitled “Covered (a selection of film scores)” (Kaiowas records, 2012), features five tracks with sonic landscapes turned into classic style rock/metal songs. A true challenging endevour, knee-deep in experimentation, that gets the band a step further in its discography. COBRA tries, once again, to unify two worlds that traditionally are usually experienced together, music and cinema.
