Elsa Baeza. Cuban singer, based in Spain, born in Bayamo on January 2, 1947.

After the triumph of the Cuban revolution, he/she left Cuba with his father, the writer Alberto Baeza Flores, Member of the Academia Chilena de la Lengua. He/She moved first to Paris and later to Madrid, where he/she developed an important and varied artistic career.

In Spain, began his career as an actress: appeared in the movie Basilio Martín Patino's nine letters to Berta, considered one of the most avant-garde and interesting new Spanish cinema. He/She later worked as a TV presenter, giving him great popularity. In this way he/she met Valerio Lazarov, became one of his muses and starred in much of their "psychedelic" programs. Trio Siboney is a group formed in Spain in the early 50s, although his first recordings were published in the late 50. Hola me voy a referir al trio siboney fue fundado por Francisco Garcia Gil, formado en España por los años 50 sus primeras grabaciones el año 1959,por la decada de los 60 ganaron muchos premios entre ellos disco de oro,conocidoa e tosa Europa y America, muy poco sobre la biografia de este trio. --- inmortalesdelamusica.bligoo.es

Desde su fundación en los años 60, el TRIO SIBONEY viene recreando la música de Hispanoamérica, sobre todo el bolero. En estos años han interpretado sus canciones en los escenarios de todo el mundo, con gran éxito. Disco de Oro en Holanda.

Sus grabaciones con las discográficas Belter e Hispavox, han sido numerosas. Algunas de estas grabaciones han sido editadas en América, por Play Music, junto con los mejores Tríos de Boleros.

En ocasiones el TRIO SIBONEY ha acompañado y efectuado grabaciones, entre otros con Mª Dolores Pradera, Chavela Vargas, Lola Beltrán y Pedro Vargas.

En la actualidad continúa como fundador del grupo Rafael Marín, con nuevos compañeros.

Continúan realizando sus actuaciones en directo, en Salas de Fiestas, Conciertos, Recitales, ofreciendo su música romántica, cálida y elegante, recreando los boleros, con el tradicional estilo que desde su inicio, les ha popularizado. --- triosiboney.com
