Sono passati 25 anni dal suo debutto sul palco del Festival di Sanremo, e Laura Pausini continua a sfornare dischi di successo e a portare alta la bandiera della musica italiana nel mondo: esce infatti il 16 marzo il nuovo album di inediti Fatti sentire, anticipato dal singolo Non è detto. Un disco dolce e malinconico: “Questo album è un invito a seguirmi – spiega l’artista – in un nuovo percorso, come suggerisce la cover: uno sguardo a chi mi copre le spalle, a chi mi fa sentire amata, protetta e sostenuta, con la promessa di un percorso che inizia da qui”.

Il nuovo lavoro contiene 14 tracce i cui testi delle canzoni portano la firma della cantante. Un brano è totalmente in spagnolo, Nuevo, e uno invece in inglese, No river is wilder, dalla classica ballad al reggeaton. Tutte rappresentano storie a cui la Pausini si è avvicinata ascoltando chi le sta accanto e non solo. Come un sequel di Simili, che invitava ad avvicinarsi e a sentirsi parte di un unico universo, Fatti sentire vuole invitare, pur nella vicinanza al prossimo, ad amare la propria personalità, ad accettarsi e a volersi bene per quello che si è.

By 2004, roughly a decade after she made her recording debut at the age of 18, Laura Pausini had sold over 25 million albums worldwide, quite an impressive feat for someone who'd never really broken into the lucrative English-language market. The Italian singer (born May 16, 1974) began her career at a young age, making her live debut at only age 12. Her singing didn't really take off until 1993, however, when she made her self-titled debut and scored a big hit with "La Solitudine." A year later -- in a practice that would come to define her career and compound her success -- she released a Spanish version of her debut, including a version of her breakthrough hit, titled accordingly as "Lo Soledad." Further albums followed for Pausini -- Laura (1995), Le Cose Che Vivi/Las Cosas Que Vives (1996), La Mia Risposta/Mi Respuesta (1998), Tra Te e il Mare/Entre Tu y Mil Mares (2000) -- each of them finding mass success in their respective markets. During these formative years, Pausini enjoyed her fame, for instance singing for Pope John Paul II at a special Vatican Christmas mass as well as at Barbra Streisand's birthday party in 1998, and embarking on sold-out world tours.

She capped off this run of success with a round of greatest-hits collections -- The Best of Laura Pausini/Lo Mejor de Laura Pausini (2001) -- and, in turn, with what was planned to be her English-language crossover album, From the Inside (2002). There was a lot riding on From the Inside, it should noted, and so when it met a mixed reception and essentially struck out with consumers, a lot was made of its failure to penetrate the English-language market. She understandably took some time off after her world tour and didn't return until late 2004, with Resta in Ascolto/Escucha. Released a long four years since her last proper Romance-language studio album, this one had a lot riding on it as well, suffice it to say, considering not only the long wait but also the disappointment of From the Inside. So it was a relief when Resta in Ascolto/Escucha returned her to the top of the charts, particularly thanks to the power ballad "Víveme." In fact, Warner Music Latina reissued the album in America in late 2005 to capitalize on its Latin Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Album, adding a bonus DVD disc. Shortly after winning that Grammy Award, Warner released a triumphant live CD/DVD, Live in Paris 05, to capitalize on the momentum. Laura Pausini's third and most impressive live album to date, Laura Live World Tour 09 (titled Laura Live Gira Mundial 09 in Spanish-language markets), is a CD/DVD package comprised of highlights from her 2009 world tour along with a couple studio recordings and more. The CD component of the album includes 15 live performances from the tour, over half of which come from her last few albums: Primavera in Anticipo (2008), Io Canto (2006), and Resta in Ascolto (2004). In addition to most of the hits from those recent albums, she performs a good balance of material from her back catalog that should delight longtime fans: "E Ritorno da Te" from The Best of Laura Pausini: E Ritorno da Te (2001), "Tra Te e il Mare" from Tra Te e il Mare (2000), "Un'Emergenza d'Amore" from La Mia Risposta (1998), "Las Coses Que Vives" from Las Cosas Que Vives (1996), and "La Solitudine" from Laura Pausini (1993). There's also a cover of "E Poi," Italian pop singer Giorgia's 1994 breakout hit. Moreover, there are three new songs sequenced at the end of the CD. The first two, "Con la Musica Alla Radio" and "Non Sono Lei," are studio recordings, the former of which was released as the album's lead single, and the third of the new songs, "Non Sono Lei," was recorded live at soundcheck in São Paolo, Brazil. As if this weren't enough, the DVD features all of these performances and many others, including three medleys, a few promotional videos, and behind-the-scenes footage. Of Pausini's three live albums to date, Laura Live World Tour 09 is the far and away best release. The balance of new and old material is perfect, and the performances are among the strongest of her tour, cherry-picked from shows in 20 different cities. Laura Pausini, omri (born 16 May 1974) is a Grammy Award-winning Italian soul singer-songwriter. She debuted in 1993, winning the newcomer artists' section of the 43rd Sanremo Music Festival with the song "La solitudine", which became an Italian standard and an international hit, reaching the top spot on the Italian Singles Chart and the top 10 in France and the Netherlands.

Her eponymous debut album was released in Italy on 18 May 1993 and later became an international success, selling two million copies worldwide. Her second studio album, Laura, was released in 1994 and confirmed her success, selling 3,000,000 copies worldwide and spawning the hit singles "Strani amori" and "Gente".

In November 1994 she released her first Spanish language album, titled Laura Pausini and composed of ten songs included in her previous works. The album was certified Diamond by the Association of Phonographic and Videographic of Spain, making her the first non-Spanish artist to sell more than 1,000,000 copies in Spain.

During her career, she won three Latin Grammy Awards for Best Female Pop Vocal Album, with her records Escucha (2005) Yo canto (2007) and Primavera anticipada (2009). On 8 February 2006 she also became the first Italian female artist to win a Grammy Award, receiving the prize for Best Latin Pop Album with Escucha.

As of January 2011, she had released 9 Italian language studio albums, 8 Spanish language albums and a greatest hits album, selling more than 45,000,000 copies worldwide. In 2004, Allmusic's Jason Birchmeier considered Pausini's sales "an impressive feat for someone who'd never really broken into the lucrative English–language market".

W tym samym roku zadebiutowała na rynku muzycznym wydając płytę Laura Pausini. Śpiewa po włosku i hiszpańsku czasami również po angielsku, nagrała także kilka piosenek po portugalsku i francusku. Sprzedano ponad 45 milionów płyt z jej piosenkami.

Jest laureatką wielu nagród branży muzycznej m.in. World Music Award dla najlepszego włoskiego wykonawcy w 2003 roku, Latin Grammy Award dla najlepszej wokalistki w 2005 i 2007 roku, Grammy Awards dla najlepszej płyty pop w 2006 roku.

Il 10 novembre 2006 la cantante romagnola pubblica l'album Io canto, composto interamente da cover di canzoni italiane. Il disco viene anticipato il 13 ottobre dal brano omonimo. L'album esce in 47 paesi e in Italia è l'album più venduto del 2006. L'album esce il 14 novembre in lingua spagnola con il titolo di Yo canto. La versione francese ha la stessa tracklist dell'edizione italiana, ma con l'aggiunta del Bonus Track Je chante (Io canto), versione italo-francese di Io canto. Nell'album interpreta canzoni che le ricordano la propria gavetta nei pianobar, o brani che le rimembrano momenti particolari della vita o della carriera. Di questo disco fa parte anche la cover di Come il sole all'improvviso di Zucchero Fornaciari in duetto con Johnny Hallyday, usata come colonna sonora di Salvatore - Questa è la vita, primo film italiano targato Disney dell'esordiente Giampaolo Cugno e Spaccacuore di Samuele Bersani, la cui versione in lingua spagnola, Dispàrame dispare, viene utilizzata come colonna sonora della telenovela messicana Amar sin limites. L'album contiene anche i duetti con Tiziano Ferro in Non me lo so spiegare e con Juanes nel brano Il mio canto libero. La versione del disco disponibile su iTunes contiene anche le interpretazioni da solista dei tre duetti, e la cover del brano È non è di Niccolò Fabi. Il disco vende in Italia oltre 600.000 copie, aggiudicandosi così 7 Dischi di platino e 1 Disco di diamante. ...Jak pokazuje historia muzyki, mnóstwo świątecznych albumów nie przynosi słuchaczowi niczego nowego i wartego dłuższej uwagi. Nowy krążek Pausini sprawia jednak, że ten przedświąteczny czas staje się niezwykle przyjemny. To zasługa przede wszystkim dwóch elementów: wokalu artystki i produkcji. Album powstał przy współpracy z nagrodzonym m.in. Grammy Awards kompozytorem Patrickiem Williamsem i jego orkiestrą. Każda kompozycja jest dopracowana. Współpraca Amerykanina i Włoszki może naprawdę podobać się. Utwory zachwycają świątecznym nastrojem, który miesza się z przyjemnym jazzowym i swingowym brzmieniem. Cała płyta jest niezwykle elegancka. Można śmiało stwierdzić, że przygotowano ją z klasą.

Nawet najbardziej wymagający słuchacz ma w czym wybierać. Na Laura Xmas dostajemy kilka klasyków z dwudziestu wieku, do których każdego roku miliony ludzi wraca z ogromną przyjemnością. Laura Pausini nie zaskakuje na tej płycie. Gwoli ścisłości, nie jest to jednak zarzut w stronę Włoszki. Jej interpretacje takich hitów jak chociażby It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Jingle Bell Rock, Happy Xmas (War Is Over) czy Feliz Navidad może nie są nowatorskie i nie prezentują nieznanych dotąd elementów, ale mają zdecydowanie w sobie to „coś”, co przyciąga i tworzy ten wyjątkowy klimat świąt, którego rokrocznie szukamy wraz z początkiem grudnia....Piotr Krajewski, allaboutmusic.pl

Laura Pausini's historic performance at Stadio San Siro in Milan, Italy, on June 2, 2007, was filmed for official release later in the year as San Siro 2007. Her second in-concert release in two years, preceded by Live in Paris 05 (2005), the CD/DVD is jam-packed with songs from throughout her career. While the two-hour-plus DVD includes 22 different tracks, six of these are medleys, adding up to 36 songs overall. (The audio-only version of the concert is shorter, jamming 27 songs onto a 80-minute CD.) The concert performance showcases Pausini's two most recent albums, Resta in Ascolto (2004) and Io Canto (2006), and includes a few surprises, most notably a multilingual medley of "Vivimi," a medley of "Y Mi Banda Toca el Rock," and Madonna's "La Isla Bonita," and a duet with Tiziano Ferro on "Non Me Lo So Spiegare." While the half-dozen medleys keep the show moving along at a brisk pace and help her jam as many of her hits into the set list as possible, it's sometimes frustrating to hear one of your favorite songs truncated for the sake of expediency. The same goes for her linguistic acrobatics. As impressive as it is to hear her switch between languages at ease during "Vivimi," it's frustrating to hear one of her all-time best songs adulterated. Moreover, the video cuts nauseatingly from shot to shot every 15 seconds, never focusing on any particular image (say, the featured singer!) for more than a fleeting moment -- from a bird's-eye view of the stadium, to the fans, to a long shot of the stage, to a close-up of Pausini, to a panoramic view of the band, to another long shot of the stadium that emphasizes the ongoing rainstorm, and so on. Then again, the storm does inject a complicating variable into the performance that can't be appreciated in the audio-only version, as Pausini and her band carry on with their open-air stadium performance in spite of the steady rainfall (whereas many of the fans are armed with umbrellas). Despite some of these frustrations, there's plenty to enjoy on San Siro 2007, above all the performance of Pausini herself, who rises to the occasion and seems unconcerned with the rain, never losing her composure, even as she races through medley after medley. Relative to her other in-concert releases, which include the aforementioned CD/DVD Live in Paris 05 (a more intimate performance indoors from the Resta in Ascolto tour) as well as the DVD-only Live 2001-2002 World Tour (2003), San Siro 2007 is her least essential. Yet devoted fans will want it nonetheless, not only because of the career-spanning performance but also because of the excellent sound quality and because of its historic nature. Pausini was the first female solo artist to perform a sold-out concert at the world-famous soccer stadium, drawing over 70,000 fans for one memorable night. --- Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
